This is a page created by me to show the models that I have built, the ones I am building and the ones that I will build in the future. Quite simply put this is a page about model kits, nothing more, nothing less.

My name is Tommie Granberg and I am a dedicated model builder and I have a genuine love for the hobby. My skills aren't by any means up there among the best, but I do the best I can and I have a great time building. Hopefully there is progress in the builds I show on the following pages and hopefully it is visible since the builds are displayed in chronological order.  That is not the point though. The point and the one and only reason that I build models is that I enjoy it.

I began building models as a child. Unfortunately I wasn't very good in those days, but I guess most of us weren't. When I was around 12 years old I stopped building. I don't think it was a choice I made really. I think that there were other things that intrigued me more and therefore I got away from the hobby for about 10 years.

Then in 1994 when I was 22 years old my interest for American cars had grown and I was in the process of buying a real American muscle car, a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS Convertible. While I was looking for the car to buy I went to the hobby store and bought my first model kit as an adult, a 1967 Ford Mustang fastback. Then I was hooked. I started building lots of kits and I kept doing that for 6 years.

Then all of a sudden I didn't feel like building anymore and I didn't touch a kit until the summer of 2005 when, by chance, I came across an unbuilt 1941 Willys Street Rod that I had bought three years earlier. Now I was hooked again. I started building seriously again, but then, in the summer of 2007, I took some time away from the hobby and didn't build anything until January 2008.

That brings us to the current day. Now I am back to building again. This site is my chance to show off the kits I have built as I am using it as a photo host for the forums where I am active.
